Meet Amethyst AB—a rich purple Amethyst hotfix rhinestone enhanced with an Aurora Borealis (AB) finish for brilliant, color-shifting sparkle. 💜🌈✨
The underlying Amethyst purple gives this stone its true color, while the AB finish creates intense flashes of blue, aqua, violet, pink and other rainbow hues as the lighting and viewing angle change.
And sometimes those reflections are so strong that you may wonder:
“Wait... is this even purple?”
Yep. MOVE YOUR HEAD. 😂💎
Amethyst AB is beautiful for purple-themed designs, school and team colors, fantasy and celestial projects, florals, performance wear, accessories and bold lettering where you want a rich purple with dramatic reflective color.
Pair it with pinks and lighter purples for a tonal palette, blues and aquas to emphasize its cooler reflections, golds and yellows for bold contrast, or Crystal and Crystal AB for extra brightness.
Purple underneath. A whole light show on top. 💜🌈✨
These three rhinestones can look surprisingly similar because their strong AB reflections may dominate what you see.
But they are not the same color.
Amethyst AB begins with an Amethyst purple base, Tanzanite AB begins with Tanzanite, and Jet AB begins with Jet Black.
If you're having trouble telling them apart, change the lighting and viewing angle and look beyond the strongest AB reflection for the underlying color. Jet AB can be especially tricky because its dark Jet base may be harder to see.
In other words: sometimes the official rhinestone-comparison technique really is...
MOVE YOUR HEAD. 😂

These rhinestones have a heat-activated adhesive backing and can be applied using a heat press or compatible single-stone heat tool.
For best results, pre-press your item for 15 seconds, then apply the rhinestones with firm pressure for 12 seconds at 350°F. Thicker fabrics may require additional pressing time. Always adjust time, temperature and pressure as needed for your specific fabric and equipment.
Wash in cold water only and lay flat to dry.
These rhinestones are made from low-lead crystal for beautiful clarity and shine.
Our stones are packaged based on volume. Rhinestone counts are defined approximations and are not guaranteed. Contents may settle during shipping.
Store your rhinestones in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight to help maintain their longevity.
We do our best to photograph and display colors accurately. However, slight variations in color may occur between batches, and colors may appear differently depending on lighting, viewing angle and screen/device settings.
Amethyst AB's reflective finish can temporarily dominate the underlying purple color. Changing the lighting and viewing angle can reveal more of the Amethyst base beneath those strong AB reflections.
If adding to stones you already own, we recommend purchasing enough for your entire project at one time for the closest possible match.
