Meet Jet AB—a dramatic dark hotfix rhinestone with brilliant Aurora Borealis (AB) reflections that burst into vivid shades of blue, aqua, violet, purple and other shifting colors as the light moves across the stone. 🖤🌈✨
Jet AB gives you the depth and drama of a dark rhinestone while adding an intense color-shifting sparkle. Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, its reflective facets can move from deep, moody tones to brilliant jewel-like flashes.
It's an excellent choice for black and dark apparel, dramatic lettering, performance and dancewear, Halloween designs, celestial themes, accessories and projects where plain black simply isn't causing enough trouble. 😏
Pair Jet AB with Crystal or Crystal AB for high contrast, blues and aquas to emphasize its cooler reflections, purples and violets for a rich jewel-toned palette, or black for a sophisticated monochromatic design that comes alive when the light hits.
Dark, dramatic and absolutely unwilling to sit quietly. 🖤💙💜✨
Jet AB can appear very similar to Amethyst AB and Tanzanite AB because their strong AB reflections can dominate what you see at first glance. However, these are three different base colors beneath the reflective finish.
When comparing them, change the lighting and viewing angle and look through the AB reflection for the underlying stone color:
These three colors can look surprisingly similar because their strong AB reflections can dominate the appearance of the rhinestone.
They're not the same color. Each begins with a different underlying base stone—Jet Black, Amethyst or Tanzanite.
When comparing them, change your lighting and viewing angle and look closely beneath the AB reflection. You'll begin to see the original base color underneath. Jet AB can be the trickiest of the three because its dark Jet Black base is harder to see through the reflective finish.
If you're choosing between these colors for a project, don't judge them from a single angle or lighting condition. Move the stones, change the light and let that underlying color reveal itself. 💎✨

We do our best to photograph and display rhinestone colors as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in color may occur between batches, and colors may also appear differently depending on lighting, viewing angle, and your screen or device settings.
Jet AB's color-shifting finish may reflect different colors as the light and viewing angle change—that beautiful variation is part of what makes it special!
If you're adding to rhinestones you already own for a project, we recommend purchasing enough for your entire project at one time whenever possible to help ensure the closest color match.
