What Is Rhinestone Template Flock?

Rhinestone template flock is a thick, fuzzy material used to create reusable templates for rhinestone designs.

Your rhinestone design is cut into the flock, leaving holes that help hold your stones in position as you brush them into place. The texture and thickness of the material help the rhinestones settle into the holes and prepare them for transfer.

Once your template is cut, weeded and mounted, you can use it again and again to recreate your design.

Okay... maybe that's not the technical terminology. But it's TRUE.

Flock is considerably thicker than ordinary craft vinyl, so don't assume your regular vinyl settings will work.

Cutting performance can vary depending on:

• Your cutting machine
• Blade type
• Blade condition
• Pressure and force settings
• Design size and complexity

Always perform a small test cut before sending your entire rhinestone design to the cutter.

You're looking for a clean cut through the flock layer that allows the circles to release easily without unnecessarily cutting through the backing.

If your circles don't release cleanly, your blade or machine settings may need adjustment.
